Хороший был канал, действительной хороший. 500 (кажется) фрагментов кинохроники, особенно жаль материалы до 1929 года... В такие моменты я вспоминаю императора Карла V - как-то он несколько часов подряд починял очень сложные часы (было у монарха такое увлечение), а вбежавший слуга снес весь механизм к хуям, опрокинув столик. Карл помолчал, вздохнул и сказал, - что же, приступим заново.

И все же очень печально - столько постов-подборок с кинохроникой теперь испортились, пропали. Горе нам, грешным.

з.ы. да, на этот раз даже без уведомлений, просто - приходишь, а там вместо дома - пепелище. И тишина, только модераторы гугла с косами стоят.

Предлагаю почтенной публике присоединяться. Если кликнуть мышкой на меню в ютьюбе либо в гугловском аккаунте, то там внизу вылезет опция Feedback. Я перетащил мышкой нижеследующее, и в гугл и в ютьюб. Как говорится -- не догоню, так хоть согреюсь:-)

I am contacting you in regard to an unpleasant and surprising ocurrence, which came to my attention today.
Specifically, the videohosting service youtube.com (owned by Google) closed the channel watermelon83, which contained an important collection of historical documentary films. The fact that these included, inter alia, numerous
documentaries from Nazi Germany does not justify the censure of either these specific videos or the channel as a whole-- indeed, these events belong to the realm of history, whether you, myself, or anyone else approve of them or not. Withholding information about undesirable events that did take place in no way helps to prevent their resurgence.

The owner of the channel is making a serious and sustained effort to further the general knowledge of history, including the 20th century history. To this end, he uses other internet platforms (writing in the Russian language), whereas the videos on the youtube channel in question were referenced as illustrative material.

In light of the above, I request that you reconsider and reverse the decision to close this channel, and
restore general access to the content. Furthermore, I suggest that you take a serious look into educational and professional qualifications of those responsible for this embarrassing desicion. I appreciate your cooperation on this matter, and hope that youtube.com will continue to serve the benefit of our shared knowledge and culture. Needless to say, the road of censorship -- whether of history alone, or of sciences and humanities in general -- leads in the opposite direction.

Черт их знает, мне кажется такой несколько идиотический текст мог бы подействовать -- вопрос в том, через сколько слоев поддержки низкого уровня ему надо пройти, чтобы добраться до начальства.
